Erik's Eagle Project

One of Aaron's scouts, Erik Borden, had his Eagle Project this week. It was awesome. Erik has a flag retiring ceremony where he and the scouts burned old flags. It was a rare oppurtunity to see and they did a great job.

Aaron and Erik

Erik and his family presented the Scouts and Aaron with a flag that has been flying over an American Military Hospital in Irag where Erik's Dad is currently serving.

It is a priceless gift.

Scouts all saluting the flags as they burn

This is a flag that had been flying in Iraq and is now being retired. Erik cut each star and stripe out before burning it.

Great Job Erik! We are so proud of you!
